Sky Hive

The ‘Sky Hive’ is a device for beekeeping in public spaces. The aim is to promote bees and beekeepers by making their important work visual in public, urban areas. A prototype was placed in the Sphinx Park in Maastricht. The new version, the Sky Hive Solar, has an electric lifting system running on solar energy.

Before landing in the Frontenpark in Maastricht, the Sky Hive Solar was presented during the Milano Design Week 2015.
